Re: Respectively Requesting :-)

Scotty I feel your pain. However I prefer to remain racing in the "lower" classes of pylon racing ie; 424 EF-1. I would and prefer to keep them on separate days I also bring in the new guys and get them introduced into pylon racing. So far I have helped 2 graduate to racing 426.

Thank You Tom

A huge thanks to Tom Melshimer for hosting the Pylon Practice at Muncie this last weekend. Tom came in early so that we could get some warmups laps on our airplanes before our first race here in May with the CAPS Shootout! The winds weren't favorable, but getting on the course is always great traini...

April Race

Our first race of 2024 happened last Saturday April 20. Two weeks ago we had standing water on the field, fortunately it drained quite well. Dave Poland (last years Bronze Champion) mowed the field for the first time this year. The grass was about as nice as we have had the pleasure of racing on. We...

Re: Possible SCAM

At first blush it looks legit.
But I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole.

Hello Race fans! It's time to charge up the batteries and get ready for some fun and friendly 2 pole pylon racing. Re: 2024 Nats Schedule and Format

Doug, I'm with the other posters, one day one class of racing. There is a host of reasons to KISS. I am certain I would not have performed as well last year if the proposed format had been used. BTW summer time Weather events have typically cleared in an hour or two. I only remember one day being a ...

Tough old bird!
I'm sure you will be back at it shortly!
If nothing else the lousy food in the hospital is motivation for getting better so you can leave.
I'm looking forward to racing with you again.

Re: Ben and Carolyn Martin Fall Classic. Aug. 19/20

Big thanks to Tom Melshimer for CD at this years event. Boy Scouts provided the track workers as well as the Lunch Trailer. At this years event Carolyn Martin was there to preside over the race and I sincerely appreciate that she made the effort to attend since she is now a Texan. The Plate system w...
