Both Dinogy and Venom are gone (out of business) best I can tell. Checking around the internet, the Turnigy Nanotech's that many of us use are out of stock with no ETA posted. So that takes away a lot of options, even the Spektrums, unless you find some old stock with the balance cords. I found one ...

I hear that you really need to shim those differently, otherwise they just keep blowing glow plugs.

If I read correctly, for 424 electric, the prop is a 9X6E prop, not standard 9X6 nitro prop. I may have read that wrong, but I'm pretty sure there was an "E" at the end of the prop designation, just like for the 8X8E prop we use for EF1. Having said that, since they hand out props for both 424 and E...

I was planning to buy new batteries for this EF1 racing season since our current batteries are getting tired. I was going to get 3 of the spektrum 3200mah 100C batteries since these seems to be popular lately. The only one's available that I could find are the G2 version that doesn't have the balanc...

Dan flew one of his 424E planes (I think it was the China Clipper) in a couple of heats at a couple of the CAPS races in 2021. It was just as competitive as any of the IC 424 planes from what I remember. Another of the benefits I noticed is that you never miss the needle setting ... plug the battery...

Hobbyking Nano-tech 2700Mah 65-130C batteries are the "hobbyking" batteries most refer to. You can also get the new Spektrum 100C batteries (I think they are the 3200's) that use the "smart" connector and use the spektrum "smart" charger. Those seem to be popular, this year.

2021 AMA Pylon Nats registration online has an entry listed "Banquet" $25. I didn't see anything on this year's Nats schedule (in the first post of this thread) that has a banquet listed. Is there going to be a banquet this year, and if so, which day, so I know whether to sign us up for that or not?...

Are the Nats results included in the "results" listed above? From what I can tell, it looks like they may not be included. I thought I saw something where the Nats are considered district 5 races (?).
