Congrats to the Robert and the entire crew. Even though Saturday was a washout, it looks like you had more than enough fun on Sunday.
Very nice to see new/old faces racing again! Tom thank you for the pictures.

Re: Woodland EF-1 and AMA 424 Pylon Race
Just a quick note:
Robert corrected the course layout here: http://www.nmpraforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4808
Both EF-1 and 424 will be flown on the 475' course not the 375' as listed in his first post.

Re: Electric Formula Rules (EF1) Proposed Rules
Ted,
Yep missed the second line. That is a TYPO. Should be 16.9. I am waiting to see if there are any other BOO BOOs before making this change.

I am not sure what you are referring to regarding the Miss Dara. Can you shed some additional insight? You made a similar comment to me at the NATS. I am just trying to understand.
FYI, Jim Nikodem flew a NitroPlanes DARA at the nats and had the second fastest time. 1:11:28.

Re: Shoestring Aluminum Spar Folding
Uavflyer, you know me and I have never had a problem. ;) But in all seriousness the aluminum is fine. You can switch out the aluminum for the carbon for some weight savings and additional piece of mind. The carbon is cheap on comparison to everything else. The original prototype shoestring from hori...

Re: EF1 national points system
Trey,
If you are willing to do it we can talk off line.
Dave Gavin, Lonnie Finch and Doug Kilebrew record the points for the other events. You can talk to them to get a handle on what is involved.

Yes we need to look at the motor and also check the fail safe. I will compile a check list this weekend and get it posted on the main discussion section.
Rounds wise, we are planning at least 6.

No unfortunately, this is not approved.
Hobby King recently had a motor approved. However, this motor is not released and we have no additional details on when it will be released.

POGO wing tip extensions
To All: I just wanted to remind you that the POGO (http://www.horizonhobby.com/products/lr-1a-pogo-arf-15e-EFL4200) as sold today and previously, is short on wing area per the NMPRA rules. We allowed these airplanes to fly without penalty in 2012. However moving forward into 2013, if you plan to fly...
