Will a Nelson or Jett motor drop into the other brands motor mount and will the spinner backplate spacing to fuse be similar?

OR once the motor mounts been mounted/potted in the fuse-you’re stuck with running that brand motor?

Looking for a/the break-in process of a new Nelson Q40LS .

I vaguely remember in the 1990’s , the Nelson Q40SS came with an instruction sheet (bought from Dave Shadel/Pspec)

I’m getting back into this and would like to hear ideas/best practice.

Found a new in package ( with desiccant pack) in my Q40 prop stash-

I think it’s an early “ approved for Q40 “ prop

No specs molded on it - has “Q40 1” molded on the blade .

Can someone tell me the dia/pitch of it?
