A Mid-Atlantic race in lieu of OJA's race
A Mid-Atlantic race in lieu of OJA's race
Hello folks:
I am taking a poll to see how many of you would come to a race, hosted by the PGRC, for 422, the first weekend in May (just like OJA would have done it). I just asked Rick Moreland and he said if we can get the numbers, we would go for it. We lack a light system, so we'd need one from either NEPRO or Tom's group in Cincinnati. We even threw away our pylons a few years back, but Ben and I had planned to make a set to practice with anyway.
We haven't put on a race since 2014, but with enough interest and a loaner set of lights, we are offering up the idea.
Please send a response to this posting and tell me whether you'd come to the race or not.

The address of the PGRC's field is:
17230 Swanson Road.
Upper Marlboro, MD
The site is ~ 8 miles south of Bowie, Maryland. We are ~ 10 miles from the District of Columbia's border. We have a 400' paved runway.

Steve,
I can’t make this race, but if you plan another contest at this site I’ll be there.

I have around fifty gallons of fuel that I purchased for the OJ race. I will donate it to the cause.

Thank you, Lee. I was wondering where I wan going to get the fuel. We have some, but not 50 gallons!
