I will be working the matrix generation for all the three-pole racing at the Nats this year. This includes 424, EF1, 426, and Q40. It is time to start indicating teams. You may reply to this posting, or email me at ceandra (at) comcast (dot) net (preferred). Please do not use the PM feature of this forum, as it does not give me notifications. Please do not text me or FB message me. Having all requests in one (or two) places makes it easier to not miss a request. Please keep the following in mind:
- Teams are limited to three members by rule
- Please communicate with your team members before putting in your request, so we do not have multiply linked teams. I am not responsible for resolving oversize teams.
- If teams are not resolved to 3 members, I will place any three together, and the remaining will be orphans
- Deadline of July 5, 5pm EDT, for requesting teams. After that, orphans are orphans.
- Please be sure your teammates are registered. Only registered entries will be placed on teams. Non-registered requests will be removed from teams when I start getting registration updates from AMA
- If you do not submit a name for your team, you are at risk of earning a name at my whim (Right, "Crash") . Or maybe just a number. Keep it clean.
- For 424 and EF1, please indicate if you are "Standard Class". Currently that means if you enter 422, or self-declare, or were expert at prior Nats events you cannot be Standard. Breakout time will advance you too. If you do not declare, then you will be placed in "expert"
- Please include AMA numbers, first and last name for each team member
- This is NOT an entry list. This is teaming that has been requested. Confirmation of Nats Entry can be found at https://www.modelaircraft.org/nats-sear ... &year=2024 ).
There is NOT an obligation to have a 3-person team! 2-person and 1-person teams are a great help in generating the matrix. Having a 1, 2, or 3-person team does not affect the placement in the matrix. Having an early or late team number does not affect the matrix. It is all randomized.
UPDATED 7/5/24. I used current NMPRA roster as of 7/5. I used final (7/3) Nats Entries list. In 424 and EF1, if you did not specify Expert/Standard, I checked against last year's results, and if still not clear I made you an expert. Congratulations!
In this list I included all pilots who have registered with AMA but have not provided teaming, as individuals.
ALL ORANGE HIGHLIGHTS NEED ATTENTION. If you do not register for the Nats, sign up for NMPRA, you will be left out of the matrix. If you are signing up this late, Larry L. (NMPRA) to let me know of changes to the rosters.
REMINDER: PLEASE include AMA number and event classes. This helps greatly in setting this up!
IF YOU MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR INFO, PLEASE DO NOT EDIT YOUR OLD POST. MAKE A NEW POST. I do not review all the old posts, I only look at posts since my last update notice.
Thanks
