The Woodland spring pylon race is coming up (March 29th and 30th).
We will be racing EF-1 and AMA 424!

For those of you planning to attend, please note the following:

The event will be two, one day races.
Both the AMA 424 and EF-1 classes will be flown on the AMA 475’ short course.
The distance from pylons 2&3 to pylon one will be 475’.
The pylons will be setup on Friday afternoon for practice.
Fuel will be available on Friday for those that need it.
Please see the map on the http://www.wdarc.org site for directions.

If you have any questions you can email me at info@apcprop.com

A flyer, with entry form, is available on the NMPRA web site.
I would appreciate if you could pre-register. This will save time on Saturday morning and allow us to get an early start.

Thank you and see you at the race.

Just a quick note:

Robert corrected the course layout here: http://www.nmpraforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4808

Both EF-1 and 424 will be flown on the 475' course not the 375' as listed in his first post.

The Woodland EF-1 and Sportsman Quickie race is right around the corner.

If you are planning to attend and have not sent me your information yet, please do so. It will speed up the registration process on Saturday morning.

You can email it to me at info@apcprop.com
Please provide name, AMA number, class you plan to race, and your teammates.

You can pay the entry fee when you arrive.

Thanks,
Robert

Weather Update ...

Many of you have been asking me about the weather this weekend.
Yes, it will probably rain on Saturday and no, I can't do anything about it.

Currently there are no plans to reschedule the race.

The latest forecast calls for rain starting Friday night and going through Saturday morning. If it is still raining at 11am Saturday, we will cancel the contest for that day only. The forecast for Sunday is good. We will most likely race Sunday and depending on how late the workers can stay, we will get as much racing in as we can.

Bring a rain coat!
