Re: Potting the Wing Saddle with Silicone
Allow the silicone to dry a couple days.
Remove the wing from the fuselage.
Allow the silicone to dry until firm.
Trim excess silicone as needed.

Hello Scott.
To follow up on your note about some brands of silicone, I don't know if I've settled on a particular brand yet, but I've had the best success with clear silicone instead of white or black. Seems to adhere better.

Tim,
What are you covering the wing with? Clear plastic or something else?
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, whatever film you use, there is the chance that it will wrinkle. I use PVA (poly vinyl alcohol). I brush it on.

Re: Potting the Wing Saddle with Silicone
I've found that the the pictured brand, Locktite, works fine. I have heard that some others don't work very well.
