Dry Camping at Scotty's ~ 15 minutes from the field. Only one water faucet so bring a splitter for sharing!!!

424 & EF1 will of course be a function of number of entrants. I will talk to trophy shop tomorrow to see lead time deadline,, so sign up as soon as possible so I have time to get the trophies made, if warranted!!!!

It’s amazing how Rocket’s “Giving to Pylon” is Ongoing and Consistently touches everyone in the community!!! Did I mention resulting appreciation???

A couple years ago Pylon lost a dear friend Jim Marrizon. Jim ran the line at Tangerine for over 20 years! We all very much appreciated Jim for his "Giving To Pylon"!!!

Shortly after Maureen and I took over SEMPRA I joined Larks and Jim and I became acquainted! I recognized him immediately cause he was always yelling at us on the Tangerine Line for our most recent conduct infraction!!!

Then one club meeting, during the New Business portion, Jim said,,, Lets Have a Pylon Race!!!!

During our first freezing January race, and after that horrible lunch debacle Rocket said,,, “Dude”!!!,,, we need a place for the Team Trials

So Jim and LARKS, and Rocket,,, made that happen,,,,, More resulting appreciation on that one!!!

A couple months later Jim and LARKS held it’s first March race!!! And we had an excellent turnout!!! Pulled Pork for lunch,,, serious improvement

With COVID mutating into another Flu type inconvenience the LARKS Invitational is back on the March calendar

However,,, LARKS is now without Jim to run the line!!!!!!

Oh S%$t & Very not good!!!!!!

At Tangerine,, Rocket and I were talking about Tavares Invitational and he volunteered to run the line!!!! He has been doing that for a while now,, I think he likes it

So when you get to the line, at Tavares,, give Rocket a big hug for his ongoing “Giving to Pylon”!!!! Did I mention resulting appreciation??

Morning everyone

So far we have 14 pilots looking to enjoy Florida Landfill weather!

The Pylons went to the field yesterday, and the Club is gearing up for another great Tavares experience!!!

At this point I am actively taking pilot sign-ups. Let me know who's planning to attend and also please review the Pilot Sign-up list and note any needed corrections!
